ENTSOG integriert Wasserstoff in Ausbaupläne

Der europäische Verband der Fernleitungsnetzbetreiber (ENTSOG) hat einen neuen Entwicklungsplan für die kommenden zehn Jahre veröffentlicht (Ten-Year Network Development Plan, TYNDP). Diesen muss der Verband alle zwei Jahre vorlegen. Unter dem TItel 'TYNDP 2022 - Hydrogen and Natural Gas' wurde der Entwicklungsprozess dieses Mal angepasst, um insbesondere die Ambitionen des REPowerEU-Programms besser zu reflektieren.

Die diesjährige Veröffentlichung stellt das erste Mal dar, dass auch Wasserstoff Einzug in die Pläne findet. So wurde unter anderem als eine von vier neuen Kategorien die 'Wasserstoffinfrastrukurebenen' eingeführt, um künftig Biomethan und Wasserstoff besser differenzieren zu können. Auch wurden die Pläne um Projekte im Rahmen des 'Projects of Common Interest' (PCI) ergänzt. Dies umfasst 215 Investments in 26 Ländern.
